You already have ferns in your landscaping, if you have shade. Maidenhair fern fits well with lacy, textured foliage, as a ground cover, an accent planting, or grouping. It requires rich soil and much humidity. Once you have developed it will reward you all season long with lush greenery.
How to plant?
The seeds need to be soaked in lukewarm water for 24 hours before planting them in the moist soil with their root side down, at least 1 inch deep.
The soil needs to stay moist but not wet and the seeds need to be kept away from drafts and heating vents
