Watermelon radishes are as easy to grow as other forms of radish. However, they take longer than other varieties to mature-about 90 days.

Plant them early through late spring. They can be planted again every two weeks for a continuous harvest. Radishes thrive in organic-rich, well-drained, fertile, deep, sandy soil.

Planting Instructions:

1. Prepare a container with soil, water and fertilizer.
2. Plant the seeds in the soil and cover them with about 1/4 inch of soil.
3. Keep the soil moist but not wet and keep it in a sunny location.
4. Water the seeds when they start to dry out and fertilize them every two weeks with a diluted liquid fertilizer solution.
5. Harvest when they reach maturity, usually after about four months from planting time.
