Chinese Wisteria Vine, 10 Seeds

Chinese wisteria (Wisteria sinensis) is a perennial deciduous vine with a twining habit of growth. Chinese wisteria, like all the members of the wisteria group, is a stunning bloomer. It bears large, drooping clusters of fragrant flowers typically bluish-purple, from May to June. The vine is a vigorous climber able to grow up to 25 feet. Trellises and other supports have to be robust to bear the weight of the plant. It can take up to 20 years for the Chinese wisteria to mature enough to produce flowers. But it also tends to be very long-lasting, with up to 100 years of living.

Planting Instructions:

1. Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours. This will help them absorb water and start the process of germination.
2. Plant the seeds in a pot with soil or a seedling tray with soil.
3. Cover the seeds with about 1/2 inch of soil, and then water them thoroughly.
4. You should keep watering your plants every day or two until they start sprouting up from the ground.
