Dianthus Spooky Mix Flower Seeds (Dianthus Superbus)

Dianthus Superbus Spooky Mix- A wonderful advantage of growing this Dianthus seed is the sweet, candy-like fragrance. Spooky Dianthus Superbus mix is a perennial Dianthus commonly known as Superb Pink.

Dianthus plants grow to about 16 inches in height. Spooky Dianthus Superbus is hardy to zone 3 and is not tender to frost. It gets a mixture of spidery, long-petalled blooms rising upright, sturdy from late spring until early fall. Superb plants made of pink are easy to care for and very satisfying to grow.

Sow Dianthus Superbus seeds 4-6 weeks indoors prior to last frost. Use a sterile starter mix, and sow the Dianthus seed on top, slightly covered with soil. After the frost season is past, transplant seedlings outdoors. For Dianthus flower seeds to be directly sown outdoors, wait until the danger of frost is over, and sow Dianthus seed directly into prepared bed. Cover seeds lightly, and keep them moist.
