Fountain Blue provides bigger, earlier blooms than most other Lobelia types, one of the cool-season container garden's best sources of colour. You'll love this cascading plant's floriferous nature, which tumbles over the sides of hanging baskets, window boxes, and other containers!
Give this plant full light in the north, a bit of shade in the south or far west. It is about 10 to 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide, with a flat, rounded habit and 1/2-inch bloom. Superb for the annual bed and for all types of containers!
Bonus Option Includes:
300 x Lobelia Seeds
20 x Bonus Mystery Seeds (Worth $7)
How to plant?
Lobelia flowers are quite easy to grow from seeds. All that is needed is a sunny, well-drained area and a few weeks of patience.
A lot of people struggle with whether to start their lobelia seeds indoors or out. It really just comes down to preference, as both ways work equally well for getting lobelia plants to grow.
The most important thing is waiting until the ground has warmed up and the soil has reached a temperature of at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit before planting.
