The ghost pepper is one of the world's spiciest chili peppers. So spicy even that they are used by the Indian Army to make chili grenades. Sure, peppers gunned up. How spicy to the palate though? How about biting into one of these notorious chili peppers?

The ghost pepper is an interspecific hybrid chili pepper, grown in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur, northeastern Indian states. The ghost pepper is an extremely variable plant that produces a wide variety of fruit sizes. In general, a fully ripe ghost pepper measures in length from 2.4 to 3.3 inches, and wide from 1.0 to 1.2 inches. Depending on their ripeness the peppers themselves are red, yellow, orange.

How to plant?

You can start by planting your seeds in a pot with soil and water and waiting for them to germinate. After about two weeks or when there is significant root growth, you should transplant them into a larger pot. The larger pot should have good draining soil in it that is moist but not wet. You will need to wait for about another two weeks before the plant has matured enough for transplanted into to its final home--a garden or field with full sun exposure where it will get plenty of water and nutrients from the soil.
