Parsley is a low-maintenance herb that can be grown in pots or in the garden. Parsley is best grown from seeds, but the germination process can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks.
1) Parsley prefers rich soil with plenty of organic matter and good drainage.
2) It prefers moist soil but will tolerate dry conditions much better than wet conditions, which can lead to root rot and death.
3) Parsley needs full sun or at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day for best growth and appearance.
Parsley seeds can be planted directly in the ground or in containers such as pots, planters, and window boxes. Planting depth should be 4 times the length of the seed.
Parsley can also be started indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date and then transplanted once outside when there is no longer any risk for frost and temperatures stay above 50 degrees Fahrenheit at night
