Use petunias whenever there is sun. Their forms of low growth are suitable for the front of a flower border, in planters close to doorways and ponds, or in patios. To brighten up the field, tuck petunias in between evergreen shrubs. Use the petunias on the 'Shock' as ground cover. Since they appear to attract beautiful moths after dark, many homeowners plant petunias close to a window or patio landscape lighting
