Planting Instructions:
- Soil Preparation: Choose a sunny location with well-drained, fertile soil. Enrich the soil with compost or well-rotted manure to promote healthy growth.
- Sowing Seeds: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in seed trays or pots.
- Transplanting: When seedlings have 4-6 true leaves and the danger of frost has passed, transplant them outdoors, spacing plants 18-24 inches apart in rows.
- Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Water deeply at the base of the plants to encourage strong root development.
- Growing: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4-6 weeks. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Support tall plants with stakes if necessary.
- Harvesting: Harvest sprouts when they reach 1-2 inches in diameter, starting from the bottom of the stalk and working your way up. Sprouts are typically ready to harvest 90-120 days after planting.
