The most ostentatious carnivorous plant next to the Venus flytrap is undoubtedly Nepents, commonly known as Hanging or Asian Pitcher Plants. Perhaps the most flamboyant and colorful of the plants, they are even extreme in carnivory, for the only plants on the planet that can be said to feed in the Wild on a regular basis-in their orchid-like traps are small lizards, rodents, and even rats.
